<idPurp>16 cm colour digital ortho-imagery from the SWOOP 2020 project.</idPurp>
<idAbs>&lt;DIV STYLE="text-align:Left;"&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;The imagery used to produce the 2020 South Western Ontario Orthophotography Project was acquired between March 7th, 2020 and May 20, 2020. The imagery consists of 105,684 frames of photography covering over 44,828 square kilometers. The airborne GPS and ground control was imported. Tie points and ground control were read in each photograph. The read data and airborne GPS/IMU were then adjustment in two overlapping sub blocks. Using the adjustment results Intergraph models were then created. Next the sub blocks were color balanced, an autocorrelated DSM surface was generated, and "above ground" features were filtered out. <stepDesc>Aerial Photography This project was flown between March 7th,2020 and May 20th,2020 using Vexcel UCX (serial numbers 1-00418469, 1-10519431 and 1-70912643), UCX_Prime_f100 (serial number a UC-SXp-1-70214391)cameras. Aircraft used were one Piper Turbo Aztec F(C-GIQC), Piper Navajo PA31 (C-FPXL and C-FLNZ) and Pa-23-250 (C-GLZR). The project was planned at a photo scale of 1:15,880 for the Vexcel UCX cameras resulting in a mean pixel size of 11.4cm and photo scale of 1:18,900 for the UCX_Prime camera resulting in a mean pixel size of 11.3cm. All flights support a 45.0cm pixel size at 90% confidence interval. All photo acquisition flights were flown with a minimum sun angle of 30 degrees. All images were flown at a minimal 60% forward gain and 20% sidelap. Airborne GPS and IMU measurements were recorded at each exposed photo center. Post-flight airborne GPS was processed to survey grade accuracies for use in the project’s aerial triangulation process. All images were captured by Airborne Sensing Corp. (ASC) of Toronto Ontario and PHB Geomatics of Boisbriand of Quebec, using three Vexcel UltraCamX and one UCX_Prime digital cameras with airborne GPS and inertial measuring unit. The digital photo data was processed into 8 and 16 bit, four band (RGBIr), pan sharpened, digital colour images. </stepDesc>

<stepDesc>Aerotriangulation: Aeroquest Mapcon Inc. was tasked to generate 16cm pixel ortho imagery with an accuracy of 45cm at the 95% confidence interval. To achieve this, 86,957 images were flown using three UCX cameras resulting in a mean photo scale of 1:15,880 and a mean ground sample distance (GSD) of 11.3cm. 24,598 images were flown using three UCX_Prime camera resulting in a mean photo scale of 1:18,900 and a mean GSD of 11.3cm. A total of 105,684 images were adjusted using Vexcel's Ultramap software for point generation, Intergraph’s ISAT for pointcleaning, densification and reading ground control. BINGO software was used for final adjustments. A total of 1,978,535 photogrammetric points were used in these adjustemnts. 534 control points were used. Of these 333 surveyed points were used as horizontal control and 152 as vertical control. 21 horizontal and vertical survey points were used as check points. Additional 10 horizontal block tie points and 1 vertical block tie points were transfered from previous adjusted blocks. All airborne GPS/IMU data were used as secondary control. The adjustment results shows a mean combined ground control weighted residuals (RMSE absolute accuracy) of 0.186m horizontally and 0.116m vertical. Mean relative precision of combined blocks are 0.020m horizontally and 0.052m vertical. The results shows that adjustment is within specifications. </stepDesc>

<stepDesc>Photogrammetry: A DSM (Digital Surface Model) was generated using Vexcel Ultramap software. The full resolution of each airphoto was used to generate a surface at the pixel level. This surface was then filtered to remove "above ground" features and "DTM" orthophotos were generated. This DTM is internal to the Ultramap process and cannot be exported. The original DSM is exported and resampled to a 0.5m pixel size, colourized, and exported to LAS format. </stepDesc>
